Job Description
Manage the end-to-end implementation of PayWay projects to ensure delivery according to agreed scope, quality, timeline, and project objectives. The Integration Project Manager combines strong project-management capabilities with sufficient technical and payment-domain knowledge to effectively manage PayWay implementations.
Job Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the project from kickoff through production go-live and project closure.
- Prepare and maintain the detailed project plan.
- Define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines.
- Organize project governance meetings.
- Prepare project status reports and steering committee materials.
- Maintain project action, issue, risk, and decision logs.
- Act as the primary operational contact between the customer, the account manager, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate workshops and project activities.
- Follow up customer prerequisites and dependencies.
- Escalate blocking issues to the appropriate management level.
- Coordinate PayWay Integration Engineers, Support Engineers and infrastructure resources.
- Ensure technical prerequisites are available.
- Coordinate application installation, interfaces, customization, testing, migration, and deployment activities.
- Ensure proper management of dependencies with Core Banking Systems, networks, HSMs, card schemes, ATM/POS providers, hardware suppliers, telecom providers, and third-party systems.
- Escalate blocking issues to the appropriate management level.
- Establish the SIT/UAT roadmap with the customer.
- Monitor test preparation and execution.
- Track defects and ensure their resolution.
- Coordinate go-live readiness reviews.
- Prepare and coordinate cutover plans.
- Manage production go-live activities.
- Coordinate post-go-live support.
- Monitor project scope and contractual deliverables.
- Identify requests outside the agreed scope.
- Coordinate Change Requests with the account manager.
- Assess the impact of changes on planning and resources.
- Identify and anticipate project risks.
- Define mitigation and recovery plans.
- Escalate critical risks early.
- Maintain clear visibility on project status for management and the customer.
- Ensure minutes of meetings and action plans are properly maintained.

Experience
- Engineering degree or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing IT implementation/integration projects.
- Experience in banking, fintech, card payments, or payment-switch projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multi-country or international projects is an advantage.
