Job Description
Implement and integrate PayWay within customer environments from the initial technical configuration through customization, testing, UAT, production go-live, and customer training. The Integration Engineer acts as the main technical implementation resource during PayWay projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in project technical workshops and requirement analysis.
- Understand customer business and technical requirements.
- Install and configure PayWay components.
- Configure PayWay modules according to the approved solution design.
- Configure connectivity with external systems.
- Participate in project technical workshops and requirement analysis.

- Integrate PayWay with external systems (Core Banking Systems, ATMs and POS networks, HSMs, payment schemes, digital channels, gateways…).
- Configure and troubleshoot online interfaces.
- Participate in API and web-service integration.
- Prepare technical test scenarios.
- Conduct unit and integration testing.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Support customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze and resolve defects identified during testing.
- Support certification testing when required.
- Prepare technical production deployment and migration plans.
- Participate in go-live readiness assessments.
- Perform or support production deployment.
- Support data and configuration migration.
- Perform post-deployment verification.
- Provide technical support following go-live.
- Train customer technical teams.
- Train customer operational and support teams.
- Transfer knowledge to support resources.
- Prepare technical and operational documentation.
- Develop customer-specific adaptations and extensions.
- Implement interfaces and integration components.
- Develop scripts, reports, utilities, and migration tools where required.
- Perform configuration and application customization in accordance with PayLogic standards.
- Coordinate complex product modifications with R&D teams.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong Java/J2EE development skills.
- Oracle Database and advanced SQL/PLSQL knowledge.
- Linux/Unix environments.
- REST/SOAP APIs and system integration.
- TCP/IP and network troubleshooting.
- Shell scripting.
- Integration and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of the software-development lifecycle.
- ISO 8583 knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of payment switching, ATM/POS, card issuing/acquiring, reconciliation, settlement, and payment schemes is a major advantage.
- HSM and cryptography knowledge is desirable.
Experience
- Bachelor's or Engineering degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networks, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in software implementation, integration, or payment systems.
- Strong Java development background.
- Experience working directly with customers on implementation projects.
- Banking or payment-industry experience is strongly preferred.
